Dr. Cheryl Proctor is a naturopathic physician. She is not new to Brattleboro. From 2009 to 2014 she served the community faithfully as a naturopathic primary care physician here in Vermont. Since then, she has served as associate dean of clinical education for the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and was also in private practice in Canada up until her return to Vermont. She boasts a number of achievements and experiences. She has been a practicing naturopath since 1988. She is a professional member of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America and teaches all over the country. She is a sought after expert in gynecology within the naturopathic community and has served as editor and author to a number of textbooks on the related subject. She has helped develop curricula for various academic programs teaching medical students on the subject of gynecology. She was associate professor within the Department of Women’s Health Studies at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto for over 20 years. She was a registered massage therapist and has received her MA in transpersonal psychology from Naropa University in Colorado.
While at The New England Wellness Group, Dr. Proctor will utilize her vast experience in serving Southern Vermont with an emphasis on Integrative Family Practice. She will utilize a number of modalities (including nutritional counseling, botanical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy, bodywork, lifestyle counseling, naturopathic medicine, supplements, and medications) to help achieve the health you want and deserve.
