Contact your insurance plan

Your plan may offer a nurse advice line, virtual care, or clinical support. Start with the member services number on the back of your insurance card to confirm the services available under your specific plan.

Have your insurance card ready

Ask: “Does my plan offer a nurse advice line or clinical staff I can speak with?” If your BCBS coverage is through another state or a different plan, use the contact information on your own card.

Eligibility, availability, coverage, and costs vary by plan. Verify these details with your insurer before using a service. For a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.

Contact details checked against official plan and Vermont Medicaid websites on November 1, 2026. Numbers and hours may change; your insurance card and plan website are the best sources for current, plan-specific information.

In-person care options

Regional urgent care

For a non-life-threatening illness or injury that needs prompt in-person attention, these regional centers may be an option. Urgent care centers have limited hours and are not emergency departments.

Check current hours, age restrictions, services, and insurance participation before traveling. Regional urgent care options below are not limited to a 20-mile radius.

Keep your care connected

Please have your visit records sent to us

If you receive care at an urgent care center or emergency department, please identify The New England Wellness Group and your usual NEWG clinician as part of your care team. Ask the treating facility to send us your visit note, discharge summary, test results, imaging reports, and medication changes.

Complete a records-release form if the facility requests one. Keep your discharge instructions and call our office the next business day to let us know about your visit and arrange any recommended follow-up.
